Located in Eastern Creek, Western Sydney, the NEXTDC S7 Data Centre is a major hyperscale data centre development designed to support Australia's growing demand for cloud computing, artificial intelligence and digital infrastructure.
The proposed development comprises three two-storey data centre buildings, with a planned operational capacity of up to 612MW. The project represents a significant investment in Australia's digital infrastructure, supporting the increasing demand for secure, high-performance data storage and processing capabilities.
Zancon has provided specialist planning and programming services during the early stages of the NEXTDC S7 development, including the preparation of the Phase 1 Integrated Master Schedule (IMS) and planning support throughout the tender and pre-construction phases.
Our involvement has focused on developing a coordinated programming framework to support construction sequencing, identify key project milestones and establish a structured approach to the delivery of Phase 1 works.
Given the scale and technical complexity of hyperscale data centre developments, early-stage planning plays an important role in coordinating construction activities, managing project interfaces and establishing realistic delivery timeframes.
Through its involvement, Zancon has contributed specialist programming expertise to support the project's planning and pre-construction requirements, helping establish a foundation for the delivery of this significant infrastructure development.
